completely furnished kitchens, you can keep snacks handy for
in-between meals.
The
wonderful meals
served to you in the main Lodge, will never leave you hungry. But
just to be sure, why not stock a few nibbles in your personal kitchen.
The cabins have the highest quality beds,
complimented with Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down comforters and
pure cotton quilts.

Air conditioning (a must in our New Zealand changing weather) and heating with double glazed
windows, keep your cabin cozy.
A 32” flat screen TV
with all Sky movies will entertain you while relaxing, not to mention keeping you in tune with your sports!
To enhance
your controlled environment, we’ve added HRV, “Heat
Recovery Ventilation” system that replaces the air in the
room with fresh clean filtered air four times every hour!

Your drinking water is pure New Zealand rain
water filtered through Germany’s finest filtration system to
give you the best drinking water you’ve ever tasted! Better than bottled, and more convenient.
You’ll enjoy the individual laptop
computer provided for each cabin, with high speed Internet WiFi, so you
won’t waste precious holiday time waiting to get on line,
while keeping in touch with your loved ones at home or checking in at
the office.

Every
bath has heated towel bars to warm the softest cotton towels and
demisters in the over-sized bath mirrors, so your lovely lady can do
herself up, while you’re in the shower!

360 Degree verandas around your cabin provide
cover, while the antler hooks offer a place for your waders and wet
jackets, while a boot rack dries your boots.
Take
in the native plants surrounding your
cabin while enjoying the birds that they attract. Why wake to an
alarm clock, when you can waken to the sound of birds!
Outside your cabin, we have comfortable custom made patio chairs for taking in a bit of sun while enjoying a cup of coffee, or visiting with the couples you may be traveling with.

The Lodge and Bar
|
Wonder over to the "Engine Room" (River Haven Private Bar)
only steps
from your log cabin and enjoy your favourite cocktail or a ice cold beer
and New Zealand and Aussy wines. You'll enjoy the great
conversation and tall tales from your angler mates.
The brown trout mounts in the Bar, will get you excited for your next
day's fishing, and the "Wall of Fame" will entertain you, as you
check out other angler's prizes, or giggle at your last year's pose!
Don't
forget your camera and be certain to give Leya a "fishy" photo of your
favorite fish of the day, to join the others on the "Wall of Fame"!

Parking: No worries, private, secure
off-road parking is provided, including wheelchair access.
Transfers: River Haven Lodge can also make arrangements for airport transfers as
well. Please make arrangements in advance when you place your
reservations and don't forget to send a copy of your itinerary so we can ensure your flight is arriving on time.
